Backwards Man (Outline)

The story takes place in the late 1950's. 

It's a regular week of resident camp, and the week is in full swing. Make up some stuff about the week going on, just note that the stables crew consists of two muppers members, Caitlyn and Emily.

Also, where fitzpatrick garage currently is, there used to be an insane asylum. The asylum had been functioning for many years, but had run out of funding a year or two before the summer of camp started, and had been left abandoned. Nobody knows what happened to the patients within the asylum, but some are believed to have been left behind when the building was abandoned.

On thursday of the week, the stables crew (Caitlyn and Emily) had to stay late (until around midnight) to fix a broken gate in the barn. On the walk back, halfway down low road, Emily realized she had been entrusted with another staff member's med kit during the day, and she'd forgotten it at stables.

Knowing the importance of bringing the kit back, she told Caitlyn she'd be fine to go get it alone, and headed back to stables.

Everything was fine initially - she found the med kit and started the walk back down low road. Halfway back down low road, she noticed the road lights began flickering. She quickened her pace, while the lights continued flickering, when suddently she heard the sound of gravel crunching behind her.

She turned around, and in the distance, she saw the disfigured shape of a man. He was wearing a long destroyed straitjacket, with one arm loose and one arm still fastened tight. His body was twisted at the waist, so his legs seemed to be screwed on backwards and he seemed to walk backwards with his torso facing forwards. "Backwards man" began slowly walking towards her.

Emily screamed, and began to run down the road. Everytime she turned around, backwards man appeared a little closer, though he never seemed to quicken his pace. This happens a few times and then the story cuts to black.

Come next morning, staff is beginning to filter through camp, and the beach crew comes out to set up the beach. They find Emily stuck halfway in the side of the dock, with a blank expression on her face. When pulled put of the dock, she curled up into a fetal position and began repeating "backwards man" over and over. She never made a recovery, and ended up being put inside a new insane asylum not far from the location of the original one.
